Hi,

You may have heard about Bisounours Party, a French Hl2 multiplayer mod about carebears killing themselves, drinking vodka and smoking bong.
You may haven't, but if I write this today is because the mod is Dead. Daft Robot, the team who where developping it stopped all activity and proposed to modders to take the project.
They've released the source, and everything that modders needed to make the mod.
Before the mod's release (and after too), I were a beta tester, play testing the game a lot with their creator (whose are friends).

Why did the mod fell apart ?
The main coder of Bp (Bisounours Party), aka Asibasth, who did bring a lot to the mod, left just after the first public release.
He deleted most of the forum, a lot of sources from the mod and disappeared. This guy is really someone everybody should stay away from.
I won't start to lynch him about his act and his nature, but you should really consider him as an asshole (sorry for the strong term, but that's really what he is).

Actually, I lied when I said it was dead : I, Among with other old dev and tester, have decided to bring back the mod to live.
So we've contacted the leads of the mod, and all of them were alright about us taking the mod, and we've started working.
So far 2 weeks later we think it's time to announce all the work we've done and the rebirth of the mod.

So far there's one thing left we haven't to successfully start a rebirth : the ModDB page.
You may ask yourself, why don't we contact the author of the mod page and get the rights ?
We did, but the guy who did set up the mod is Asibasth, and he's blocking all the stuff.

He first asked us to show a bit of work, to get sure we're serious ... Wait, What ?
Why would WE need to be "serious" when this guy completely destroyed the mod by itself ?
Anyway, we showed him what we did, he said alright "but I need to talk to Klems" (Klems was the Game designer back then, and is in vacation for a month) (and of course, we had already talk to Klems, he was alright).
He does know that Klems couldn't talk to him, even if he wanted to.

By now, Asibasth completely refuse to give us the rights, saying he cares about the mod's image.
He's completely hypocrite and nobody should trust him.

So that's why I am now writing this : Our new mod team wants to get the ModDB page back. Since we are totally allowed by the original authors to get the mod rights, Bp now becomes our mod.
And basically, we're asking to get control of the page of our mod on your (very useful) platform.
